KVK Seoni is working since last 15 years. Seoni district is located under keymore plateau & satpura hills i.e. Rice – Wheat zone. Total geographical area of the district is 8.75 lack ha. Cultivated land is 5 lack ha. Under Kharif is 3.0 lack ha & in Rabi 2 lack ha. Irrigated area 24%, rainfed area 76%, cropping intensity 135% rainfall 1150 mm. Major crops in Kharif are paddy, soybean followed by Maize & Arhar. In Rabi Wheat, Grams followed by Lentil, Pea & Linseed.
